Importance

[edit]

Should Al jenkins be granted a page of his own since Doctor Poppy Merritt didn't have her own as far as I know she is still a minor character. Al jenkins has been in the show for one episode as of the 2nd May 2009 and he already has a page perhaps he will have a large storyline or be an important character but right now he has just moved in. If he doesn't have a big role than maybe someone should create a page with every Walford doctor on it and link of to the GPs with more storylines e.g Harold Legg or May Wright.--Spock a (talk) 18:17, 2 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

We have creation, development and reception sections for Al Jenkins already, which don't work in the lists of minor characters. Al seems to be a regular, main character. Main characters tend to have their own page on Wikipedia before they even turn up on screen. Basically, because there's enough sources to make this more than just plot, he should have his own article. AnemoneProjectors (what?) 19:11, 2 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Alexander

[edit]

Back in May someone put that his name is Alexander, but I don't remember this being referenced in the show. Was it? I would have thought Alan rather than Alex. AnemoneProjectors (talk) 20:26, 16 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I don't think it's ever been mentioned in the show and the EastEnders website just says "Al". Maybe it should be removed? W93 (talk) 20:31, 16 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
You remember every little detail, so I've removed it :) AnemoneProjectors (talk) 21:49, 16 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Merger

[edit]

This is another character that I feel doesnt warrant their own page. Anyone agree it should be merged with List of EastEnders characters (2009)? Bleaney (talk) 00:51, 22 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

It has about the same amount of information as Vinnie Monks, so like Vinnie, I think keep it unmerged. anemoneprojectors talk 01:04, 22 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
